Hike #1 the Overlook Trail

Tracie, Viki, Jan and I headed up the road towards Zion with the intent to hike a couple moderate trails and enjoy the day. We were successful!

Our first hike on the Overlook Trail

The red rocks are so beautiful

The entire hike was only a mile round trip but the first half was uphill. It was intense!

We saw a few mountain goats grazing below us, and a squirrel or two. The trail was somewhat crowded but walkable and the rock formations were simply stunning.

We enjoyed our break at the top of the trail. I couldn’t get enough of the views but it was time to head to another location. We snapped a couple photos. Smiles all around…
