Our first full day in Paris and we slept in a bit. I had to figure out how we were going to spend our time while we are in Paris. We were also changing rooms which takes time away but it will be worth it.
Finally I have plans figured out. We have a two day Paris Pass Lib’! It includes a hop on hop off bus for 1 day, a boat ride down the Seine, museum pass for two days, metro pass for two days, the Eiffel Tower second floor addition for an additional small fee. That will be more than enough to keep us busy and educated.
To pick up the passes we had to go to Hotel DeVille. We decided to walk and what a great decision that was!
We found shoes along the way and a warm sweater. It was a good stop!
We walked past so many patisseries, markets roasting chickens, chocolate shops and more patisseries. We stopped for a macaroon and espresso and then continued on.

Once we picked up our tickets we had seen the noodle place and decided that would be our lunch. We shared a plate which was plenty!

We went inside a couple churches on our route. Everything here looks so big, amazing.

Back to our room to set up again. This room is slightly smaller but it’s set up better. And it’s on Floor 1 vs Floor 5 so it’s quicker access to Floor 0.
In Europe often the main floor is 0, so when they inform you that your room is on 2 and they have no elevator, you think “ok, I can walk up 2 flights”. However it’s 3 flights. There’s a fun fact for you!
For our evening, we went to the Champs Elysses for a drink and to enjoy the atmosphere. We saw plenty!

A restaurant bus! Parked near the Place de Concord

Our very expensive beers on the Champs. It was worth it for the entertainment value…
While on the Champs Elysses I snapped a few more pics.

So there you have a day. We walked during the day and took Metro at night but still managed 10 miles. I keep forgetting we’re not on our walk any longer! Suzanne reminds me…
