Viterbo to Vetralla

Friday October 12 2018

Once we left Viterbo, the morning began by walking down a road built by the Romans. I touched the wall to see if it was dirt or stone. It was stone. The road was dark and narrow and cars would honk around curves to make sure their presence was known. It was pretty amazing.

Great cave. Not sure what it was used for

Graffiti caught my eyes. It was so colorful. Most underpasses have some type of graffiti…

The farmland paths were hard to walk on. Overgrown and uneven.

Hello or buon giorno

The guys were just getting ready to pick olives

There were some pretty small babies in this group and a blond sheep dog

A comfy bench. The only one all day!

Almost to Vetralla along a lawn-type pathway

We had a hard time finding our BnB but once we did, it was amazing. Again we are in a house that has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Kitchen, two living rooms, and we have laundry machine. Score! We at least were able to enjoy daylight at our accommodation today.

Here are a few pics from Vetralla.

Fountain of fish!
